A Few Stock Updates

Well its that time of year again where stock arrives and vanishes in the blink of an eye. And as Bus Stop Towers gets busier, unfortunately my blog posts get a little less frequent. Just thought I'd take the chance to give a quick update on where we're at with the more popular items whilst munching my lunchtime sandwich.

Sylvanian Families is thin on the ground, however for the time being, we've still got a reasonable selection, including the uber-sought after Caravan.

K'Nex has arrived back into stock in a big way, and we're currently fine on most of the popular items. Elsewhere in construction Meccano looks fine too, but Airfix (thanks to James May) we have next to nothing left (sorry).

On Playmobil, we're now starting to struggle and there's no deliveries left before Christmas unfortunately. If you're planning a Playmobil present then come and see us pretty quickly.

Finally, on boys hot toys, we're currently fine on stock for Bakugan, Gormiti and GX Racers and we currently have a small quantity of Match Attax Starter Packs and Collector's Tins left. The nation's favourite stocking filler, Crazy Bones are fine too.

For our UK online customers everything leaves, at latest, next working day by 1st Class Post, so you've still a few days. International customers should note that recommended last posting dates for international airmail have now passed, so we cannot guarantee to have your goods with you in time for the big day.

GX Racers: Tightrope Terror

At long last we've managed to add the missing piece to our collection of GX Racers. If you haven't tried GX Racers yet, you've been missing rip-roaring, fast paced, car-stunt action type stuff. Very, very cool indeed.

But the one everyone wants is the GX Racers Tightrope Terror. Ever since it got itself (quite deservedly) included in this year's Dream Toy List, the hunt has been on to get hold of this set, up and down the land. Fear not, Bus Stop to the rescue.

Groovy Girl Christmas Special Edition

If there's one thing that always winds up on Santa's List in our house, it's the Groovy Girl Christmas Limited Edition dolls. Don't get me wrong, we pretty much love all the Groovy Girls at Bus Stop Toy Shop, but each year the festive ones just get better and better.

And so without further ado, we'll unveil this year's Christmas Groovy Girl, Snowflake Sophie. In a gorgeous silver/blue outfit it looks like this Groovy Girl is dressed up and ready for all those Christmas Parties.

Our Latest Sylvanian Extravaganza

Hot on the back of the news that the Sylvanian Family Caravan made it onto this year's TRA Dream Toy list, we're pleased to bring you our latest round of additions to our already stacked shelves full of Sylvanian Family goodies.

First up to enter Sylvania are our new friends the Racoon family, and when they get there, they're going to find somewhere swanky to live - Willow Hall. They'll be able to kit it out with the Victorian Living Room Set, add an old-fashioned twin-tub Washing Machine, a breakfast table and chairs and head to bed with the newly released Nightlight Nursery Set.

That's aside from the already huge range of Sylvanian Family that we had before, and stuff that we ain't even had time to mention. Another Match Attax Season Begins

Playmobil is in the building

Just a quick post, to announce the worst kept secret in Bus Stop Toy Shop history. (Me, and my big mouth.) Playmobil is now in the building. Well, I just couldn't resist doing it - Playmobil was such a big part of my own childhood. I was an emergency services sort of kid - I remember my Police Car and Ambulance fondly, but there is so much more to Playmobil nowadays.

We've got the Egyptian stuff, the knights and castles, the vikings, the vets and animals stuff, the list goes on and on - best bet is to drop in and have a look. We're hoping to have Playmobil available for our online army of fans soon, but at the moment sorry folks, only in the shop. Keep checking back for more info.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds Toys Now In Stock

Well, it's been forever and a day since there were Yu-Gi-Oh! toys around. Given that, well, toys and Yu-Gi-Oh! are two of our favourite things in the world, we were naturally excited when we heard that a range of toys were coming out to accompany the new 5Ds series on TV. Smashing.

Little did we realise however, just how superb they would be. There's more to come over the next month or so, but at the moment we've got the action figures, which come in two different sizes and contain a range of monsters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds show. You can also get your hands on an articulated Yusei figure complete with his D-Wheel (pictured). It's stunning and is an absolute must have.

Gogos Crazy Bones Power Series Now In Stock

We've been scratching around for a week now, trying to get some of the new Power Gogos Crazy Bones in stock, but you know by now how new releases of Crazy Bones go. Well they've finally landed on the counter here at Bus Stop Towers.

The Power Crazy Bones series adds a new twist, with crazy bones cards included in the packs, alongside two of the new crazy bones. There's 90 Crazy Bones in the new series to collect, oh and for the first time, there's a funky starter pack to get you off and running. Get cracking, chaps...

Increase in our KNex Range

We're enjoying the resurgence in the KNex brand here at Bus Stop Towers. The 5+ "works with all leading building bricks" (I'm sure you can figure out which leading bricks it's compatible with...), the more traditional KNex for 7+, and the 3+ Kid Knex are all proving popular and flying off the shelves.

Anyhow, the KNex truck pulled up at Bus Stop Towers, a few hours ago. All the favourites are back - although not for long, if last time around is anything to go by - but more excitingly, the amusement park series has arrived in store for the first time. New Pokemon Christmas Tins

We're always excited about the Pokemon Christmas Tins, and the regulars on a Sunday afternoon at Bus Stop always start guessing which Level X Pokemon will be featured, months before the launch date.

Well this year, our three featured Pokemon are (drum roll) Charizard, Rayquaza and Garchomp. If you've never bought the collectors tins before, what you're getting is a lovely shiny Pokemon tin, containing the exclusive Level X card, as per the name of the tin and four booster packs - in this case, 3 from the Platinum Series and 1 from the Diamond and Pearl series.

Oh, and don't let the name (Christmas Tin) fool you. If Santa wants them for anyone, he's well advised to put his order in now, as they often sell out nationwide quickly. Don't say we didn't warn you.

Trunko is over the top. He freaks out over everything and overreacting is his
hobby. When the chips are down, he orders a million more chips at
wholesale prices. Where there's smoke there's fire..and there's Trunko
using a fire hose to put out his birthday candles. Full throttle, go go go...You
know how you look before you leap? Yeah, that's not Trunko. So please be

Always eagerly anticipated, the first wave of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds Collectors' Tins have hit the shelves. There's two superb exclusive cards to pick from (or why not have them both?) - Power Tool Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon - two fantastic cards from the new Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds anime.

We're loving Pokemon Supreme Victors already, and we haven't even had the chance to check out some packs ourselves yet! Now you can harness the power of Cynthia and Cyrus' Pokemon. As usual with Pokemon, there's a choice of two Theme Decks - in this case Cynthia's Overflow deck, featuring her Milotic and Spiritomb and Cyrus' Ignition deck with his Arcanine and Venosaur. Restocks on Yu-Gi-Oh! and Gormiti

Two products which are particularly hot at the moment for us are Gormiti and Yu-Gi-Oh! We've been on a bit of wing and a prayer as far as stock goes with these ones the last couple of weeks, but I'm pleased to report that all systems are go at the moment.

Gormiti first up. We've managed to get hold of some Series 2 four packs. If you're still finishing your Gormiti Series 2 collection, then our advice would be grab them now - they wont be around for much longer. We've also got the Series 3 Gormiti Atomic four packs back in - the coolest release so far in the Gormiti series. Check out all our Gormiti products here.

Next up, Yu-Gi-Oh!, where the new 5Ds series on TV has introduced the game to a whole new generation of duelists. World of Warcraft TCG Returns

We're going trading card crazy at Bus Stop Toy Shop at the moment. The World of Warcraft Trading Card Game is again one we've stocked previously. It wasn't a huge hit first time around, however with the growing number of World of Warcraft fans amongst our clientele, alongside the ever increasing popularity of the TCG, it's long overdue a proper return to the shelves. Our first offerings are the Fields of Honor boosters and the new Arena Grand Melee decks.

Magic: The Gathering Returns to Bus Stop

Once upon a time, Bus Stop stocked Magic: The Gathering cards. In those days, we probably didn't have the clientele for it, and understandably as a result, it didn't work. It was a great pity, because we absolutely love the game ourselves. Nowadays, happily, there's a nucleus of an M:TG community around the shop and it's high time we had the cards back in.

The Magic: The Gathering 2010 intro packs and boosters were the ideal time for M:TG to make a return and, drum role please, they're now in stock. Enjoy! You can check these latest Magic: The Gathering releases out here.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Retro Pack 2

It's one cool release after another for Yu-Gi-Oh! at the moment. Retro Pack 2 comes hot on the heels of the Yugi Duelist Pack, making it a full-blooded retro summer for Yu-Gi-Oh!

Retro Pack 2 features another 100 cards from the early days of Yu-Gi-Oh! and it's sure to be every bit as popular as last years edition. Get your retro Yu-Gi-Oh hats on by heading here.

Flick Trix Arrives

Teck Decks have been a hugely popular feature of the Bus Stop line-up for a long time, so we'd be incredibly surprised if Flick Trix don't become a big product for us too. The principle is the same as with our popular finger skate boards - Flick Trix are finger-sized bikes, all ready for performing the same tricks you would on a full size bike, but in miniature form. Yu-Gi-Oh! Yugi Duelist Pack

This is an absolute must have for fans both old and new of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The Yugi Duelist Pack is crammed full of fan favourites from the early days, many with superb new artwork. Transformers and Ben 10 Figures Land at BSTS

Just a quick post about a couple of recent arrivals at Bus Stop Toy Shop. We've managed to lay our hands on a (so far) limited stock of Transformers. The first two deluxe figures to arrive are Sentinel Prime and Swoop. Enjoy! Check out our Transformers here.

New Releases - Club Penguin Jitsu and Yu-Gi-Oh Gold Series 2

A couple of interesting new Trading Card releases hit the site today, just a quick blog to let you know about them.

First up, for our younger collectors, we have Club Penguin Jitsu cards. Based on the massively popular online game, Club Penguin, these cards have been like gold dust so far. At last we have a (limited) stock in. If you want some, we suggest you grab them quickly. You can check out our Club Penguin Jitsu cards here.



Secondly, we almost couldn't believe our eyes when we saw them. Finally, after a year of promises, Yu-Gi-Oh! Gold Series 2 is out. And wow, it's well worth the wait - Monarchs, Six Samurai, Gold Sarcophagus, Dark Armed Dragon. Superb, but just like Series 1, this is a very limited production run.
