Black Emperor II - Update

After fierce competition on Saturday, the second (and here was the surprise), third, fourth and fifth Black Emperors were won. Fifteen of the world's top Magno-Man players gathered in store for an unforgetable two rounds of action. A nail-biting finish saw the winner emerge with six points, whilst three runners up scored four each.

Filly arrived in our shop on Friday and the early clamour for them tells us that it's the next big thing. They're a collection of 20 small pocket sized horses. Drop by and see what we're talking about. They're cool and the latest must have for the girl about town.

Doctor Who Battles In Time: Annihilator Series

Hot news - following on from the huge success of the Doctor Who - Battles In Time Exterminator Series, we've just learned that a new series of cards is about to be launched. It's going to be called Annihilator and is rumoured to contain 100 new cards. Due late February, if you're a regular in our shop, come and see us about pre-ordering some packs. We'll give you more news as we get it.

Sun Is Shining

For the first time in what feels like a decade, the sun is out in Largs. Hoorah! Bit chilly though, so it's not quite time to put the beach balls back on display in the shop.

First Week of Sunday Cards

Good to see a few faces turn up to swap cards. One VERY lucky individual bought a pack and picked up a Super Rose Golden Ticket card (1 in every 1000 packs) .

Doctor Who: Battles In Time

I bought six packs for myself - only one super-rare to report (Pickled Eggs #80). If you are coming along to swap, go to the BIT website - you can see my collection under the username "busstoptoyshop". I'm a nice guy, so I'll swap any of my cards with you (common for common, rare for rare and so on) so long as your card is in decent condition. If you see anything you need, then drop into the shop any Sunday between 2 and 4.

Another Wet and Wild Day In Largs

It's Friday, it's wet, it's a typical January day in Largs. Come and visit us - we'll put the kettle on and make you a cuppa to help beat the elements. With the weather set to be like this for a few days, you need bus stop toy shop in your life to warm your day up.

Sunday Afternoon Cards

There's always something new at bus stop toy shop. Sunday afternoons have always been quiet for us. Duncan might as well be doing something rather than sitting looking at the walls. Plenty of people come into the shop to buy their Doctor Who: Battles In Time cards and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. With the local schools now discouraging people from bringing in their cards, where do you go to swap cards and play the games? bus stop toy shop, of course. Now on a Sunday afternoon between 2 and 4, you can bring along your deck, swap cards or even challenge Duncan (who's a beginner so you'll win easy).

Some Things to Note: I'm not a child minder or a creche and I would prefer young children to be accompanied. However, I will help beginners to learn the games, offer advice and also make sure novices don't swap away something worth a fortune for a crusty old common card.
